A Situation For Oral Or Written Practice
T gives an example :- “I’d been out with friends and we’d drunk a lot. I’d left my clothes in the bar…..”
Using Photos
SS are given photos and write what they think had happened before the photo was taken.
Sentences and photos are then mixed up, and SS have to match the sentences to the photos.
Role Play
Reporting a robbery at a police station.
“When I got home from work I saw that the window had been broken and the burglars had stolen the T.V.. They had also….
Variation :- Sketches of two rooms. One before the burglary and one after. SS write sentences using the drawings as prompts.
Eg.) When I came home I saw that …..the safe had been opened
The clock had been broken
The picture had fallen….etc.
